UK Open draw brings out the big guns!
Duzza faces a possible round two match against James Wade in the UK open on June 7th!
However Glen needs to negotiatie his way to the second round to make that a reality. That means getting round a first match with the Lakeside's Ste Bunting in the prelim round too!

Turning it on, on Teeside!
Another day, another domination of North East darts as Glen bags his second Teeside title out of two attempts in 2012.
Having missed the second and third events of the Teeside rankings due to other commitments, Glen returned to take part in the Bert Robson trophy.
And Duzza did the business, by taking home the title. The event also managed to raise money for charity as an added bonus.

Table topper!
The 2011/2012 County season came to a close this weekend, and it was a memorable one for Durrant.
Glen finished the season TOP of the average tables in division three, with a 28.98 three dart average and a 35.98 DAVE average (combines three dart av and win ratio)
This came in helping his beloved Cleveland finish second in the Men's A table and third in the overall county standings.

UK Open bound!
Things just keep getting better and better for Glen Durrant and his army of supporters as he qualifies for the PDC's televised UK open.
Duzza entered the 2012 UK open qualifiers through his local Rileys clubs at Middlesbrough and Sunderland this weekend. But he did not need both chances to qualify - he won the Middlesbrough qualifiers and will be at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton on June 7th. The tournaments is shown live on Sky Sports!

England Hero!
Glen had a dream day on his England debut today in the British Internationals.
Glen was selected to play in both matches England were involved in. He impressed with a 3-0 victory as England steam-rolled Scotland and he had the honour of throwing the winning double, leg and match for the tournament as they overcame Wales in the tournament final.

Double Delight as England Beckons!
Glen Durrant goes into the British Internationals weekend full of confidence after a double win on the very difficult North East darts scene.
Duzza opened up with a big Northumberland Open win with wins in the last 16 over Alan George, before beating his best friend Tony Eccles in the last 8 before a tough semi with arguably North East Top Dog Paul Jennings. The hard work was not over as he beat multi-competiton winner Paul Williams from Tyne and Wear in a dramatic last leg decider
To put the icing on the cake Duzza reatined his Hartlepool title after a tough opener with Durham County A player John Hardman. He then beat his pairs partner Dennis Coleman in the last 16 before a comfortable win over Cleveland legend Dave Blenkarne. Glen then played his best darts to whitewash Barry Hunter before another final with Tony Eccles. Both players played close to their best with Duzza once again winning by the odd leg.
Glen will now concentrate on hard practise this week before his dream date in Wales this weekend.

Islands, in the dream!
It was the Isle of Wight open this weekend.
It was a mixed set of results for Glen in the four competitions available but he came home with a trophy and a pocket full of ranking points. Read more here.

Scottish Open!
Another weekend and another big open for Duzza. The 2012 Scottish Open saw the finest on the tour along with thousands of others roll up for a triple header of darts tournaments!
Glen had mixed fortunes over the weekend. In the team events he and his colleagues performed superbly with a final and semi final finish. The singles saw Glen win his board but get edged out in the L64.

Dutch Darting
Glen was in action in his first big test of 2012 in Masters and Lakeside qualification this weekend. For once though he did not have things his own way.
A run to the last 16 of the pairs (with Tony Eccles) on Friday was followed by him succumbing the eventual winner, Stockport's Tony O'shea in Round 3 of the main event on Saturday 3-2.

Christmas Duzz'nt get better than this!
Cleveland was a busy place on the local darts scene over the holiday period as Glen Durrant confirmed his status as Teesside Number 1 with a triple success. The Lazenby Social Club Boxing Day tournament saw Duzza take a final against Allan Edwards.
The Rileys Dart Zone Middlesbrough finals was the end of 8 weeks of qualification. Collin Foxton provided no match for Glen as he took the title 6-0.
Onto the Hartlepool Enginners Club competion on New Years day and it was another whitewash for Durrant in the final.

Teeside Glory!
Glen has once again proven to be the cream of North East darts. He has captured "the big one" - the 2011 Teeside champion!!!
Glen battled through the early round and had no easy ride towards the end. But Duzza overcame his old adversary Davey Prins in the final to take his third Teeside crown in four years!!!

Duzza is BACK!
After a short break, Duzza has bounced back onto the local darts scene in emphatic fashion, with no less than four November tournament wins and a charge to the top of the England Men's rankings.

Middlesbrough Open Heartache!
Glen was back in Teeside action this weekend, and managed to make the final in his attempt to defend his Middlesbrough open title. However he lost out in a tense decider to Dave Prins.
